MaMkhize breaks her silence and reveals what Sbu Mpisane received after their divorce

South African businesswoman Shauwn “MaMkhize” Mkhize has taken a swipe at her former husband, Sbu Mpisane, revealing the assets she claims he received when their marriage came to an end.

On Friday, 6 November 2026, MaMkhize shared a strongly worded statement on Instagram, making it clear that she was no longer willing to remain silent about their private disagreements.

In her post, the businesswoman said she had chosen not to speak publicly about their separation for years out of respect for Mpisane and their son. However, she claimed that she had reached a point where she could no longer keep quiet while their personal issues continued playing out in public.

MaMkhize also accused her former husband of taking their disagreements to the media instead of allowing the legal process to deal with the matters.

She went on to list what she claims Mpisane received following their separation. According to her, he was left with Royal Eagles Football Club, their matrimonial home in La Lucia, Durban, as well as several luxury cars.

The businesswoman questioned why Mpisane continued bringing their issues into the public eye after receiving those assets.

She also made it clear that she had worked hard to build her wealth and believed that people should take responsibility for building their own lives.

Her message ended with a direct remark telling Mpisane to go out and work like other men.

The public statement came after investigative journalist Abram Mashego sent her questions about a fraud complaint allegedly opened by Mpisane. The complaint reportedly involves a property transaction linked to the Sbusha Trust.

MaMkhize said she had only learned about the alleged investigation through the journalist’s questions. She denied the allegations, describing them as baseless and disputed.

Meanwhile, her post attracted support from social media users, with several people encouraging her to stay strong.

The latest exchange has once again brought the former couple’s divorce and ongoing disagreements into the spotlight.
