Nana Akua Addo Delivers Emotional Bridal Finale at Lagos Fashion Week

Ghanaian fashion personality and actress Nana Akua Addo became emotional on the runway as she closed The Sevon Dejana Brand’s “Out of Body” showcase at Lagos Fashion Week 2026.

Wearing an intricate all-white wedding gown, she shed tears during the finale at the Federal Palace Hotel tents in Lagos. The audience responded with applause and a standing ovation.

After the show, Nana Akua shared a video of her appearance on Instagram, explaining that the bridal look carried personal significance.

“I closed the show in a wedding gown, just as I closed a chapter in my own story,” she wrote.

She also reflected on endings, new beginnings and the courage needed to embrace change, describing the appearance as more than a runway walk.

Her appearance followed reports that she and her husband, Harold Norman, had separated. In her runway post, Nana Akua referred to closing a chapter in her life without naming it.

She had previously petitioned Ghana’s Criminal Investigations Department with allegations of physical, emotional and economic abuse involving her husband. His lawyers disputed claims that he assaulted her, and she has said she wants the matter handled through the legal process.

The fashion personality has also asked the public to respect her family’s privacy.
