Baba’s Daughter Ditches ODM? Winnie Odinga’s Cryptic Video Sparks 2027 Speculation

Winnie Odinga has sent the internet into a frenzy after dropping a cryptic video online teasing a massive announcement ahead of the 2027 polls.

The East African Legislative Assembly (EALA) MP left social media users guessing about her next major political strategy as she targets the Nairobi senatorial seat.

In the short clip shared on Monday, November 2, 2026, the vocal politician explicitly hinted that something big is rolling out next year.

“Rumour has it. Big news is coming. It’s got everyone talking. In 2027, we are bringing…..Are you ready?” the text in her video read.

The mysterious teaser lands at a defining moment when political alignments are rapidly shifting across the country.

Surprisingly, Winnie has kept her cards close to her chest regarding the specific political party ticket she will use for the Nairobi race.

Hours before releasing the video, the lawmaker engaged her followers with a strategic online poll to gauge public sentiment on her political direction.

She presented four choices to her fans: ODM/broadbased, Linda Mwananchi, Fight for ODM, and Relax/other.

The final numbers sent shockwaves through the political landscape as Linda Mwananchi secured a commanding 72 per cent of the votes.

Meanwhile, the traditional powerhouse factions ODM/broadbased and Fight for ODM lagged far behind, tying at just 11 per cent each.

This dramatic shift in data indicates a strong public desire for alternative political vehicles outside mainstream setups.

Winnie’s grand plan for the capital city became public weeks ago during a memorial service held to honor her late father.

Speaking on October 15, 2026, she declared her intention to fill the vacancy left by the incumbent senator.

She explained that with Edwin Sifuna eyeing higher positions, she is fully ready to take over the crucial Nairobi Senate seat.

As the 2027 General Election draws closer, this latest video ensures that all eyes remain firmly fixed on her next moves.
