Ned Nwoko Appeals for Public Support for Regina Daniels and Warns Bloggers

Nigerian senator and businessman Ned Nwoko has appealed to the public to show compassion towards his estranged wife, Nollywood actress Regina Daniels, amid continued discussions about her personal life and health.

Nwoko made the appeal in a statement shared on his Instagram page on Monday, November 2, 2026. He called on Regina’s fans, friends, bloggers and social media commentators to give the actress some privacy and allow her to concentrate on her recovery.

He explained that his appeal was not only for Regina but also for their two children, whom he said deserved to see their mother receive love, encouragement and support during a difficult period.

The politician said Regina had experienced challenges that many people might not fully understand. He therefore urged the public to avoid passing judgment on her or adding to the pressure she was already facing.

Nwoko also expressed concern about false stories circulating online, particularly fabricated announcements claiming that the actress had died and misleading reports about her health and personal circumstances. According to him, Regina comes across many of these publications, and they cause her considerable distress.

The senator further appealed to people who genuinely care about the actress to discourage the spread of such content instead of sharing or promoting it for online engagement.

He also issued a warning to bloggers and social media users who deliberately create or distribute false information about Regina. Nwoko said publications containing fabricated claims about her death, health or private life were being documented.

He added that anyone found responsible could face legal consequences through the appropriate channels. He maintained that Regina deserved the opportunity to focus on getting better without being confronted by fresh rumours and misleading reports every day.

His latest statement has attracted attention because of the couple’s widely discussed marital difficulties. Although Nwoko spoke about Regina’s well-being and the need for public support, he did not announce a reconciliation between them.
