The Kaaba Doesn’t Behold Any Special Spiritual Purpose, They Have Politicized The Trip- Atiku’s Aide

Phrank Shaibu, the Special Assistant on Public Communications to the former Vice President of Nigeria, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, has criticized President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for going to Makkah.

This was contained in a video that was posted on the official X handle of Nigerian interviewer, Seun Okinbaloye on Monday, November 2, 2026.

This is coming after President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and some state governors visited Saudi Arabia to pray for Nigeria. In the video that surfaced online, Phrank Shaibu accused the President of politicizing his Umrah trip. He said President Bola Tinubu has turned the spiritual exercise to a political one.

Phrank Shaibu claimed that the President embarked on the journey in order to deceive the people.

“The Kaaba does not behold any special spiritual purpose.They have politicized the trip. I will call it Political Umrah”.
