Regina Daniels: Ned Nwoko Breaks Silence, Threatens Legal Action Over Death Reports
According to a report by Daily Sun on Monday, November 2, 2026, Senator Ned Nwoko has threatened legal action against bloggers and social media users circulating false reports about the death and health condition of his estranged wife, Nollywood actress Regina Daniels.
Nwoko raised the concern in a statement published on his Instagram page, where he appealed to the actress’s fans, friends and members of the public to stop spreading fabricated information and allow her to recover away from public scrutiny.
The lawmaker expressed particular displeasure over reports falsely announcing Daniels’ death, describing such publications as harmful to her well-being. He maintained that the actress needed encouragement and support rather than criticism and misleading stories about her personal circumstances.
He also referred to a birthday video previously shared by Daniels, saying it provided an indication of some of the health difficulties she had experienced. According to him, her situation should not become an excuse for public judgment or attacks.
Nwoko further explained that his concerns extended to their children, who deserved to see their mother receive the necessary support and have the opportunity to recover.
The senator disclosed that publications containing false claims about Daniels were being documented, warning that those responsible could face legal consequences.
βWe are documenting these publications, and anyone found responsible will be held accountable through the appropriate legal channels,β he warned.
He added that the actress’s welfare remained important to him, insisting that she should be allowed to deal with her personal challenges without the additional pressure of fabricated reports and damaging social media commentary.
