Afrobeats star David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has spoken on the prospect of a joint tour with Wizkid, revealing that he would demand $500,000 for each show.
The artist, during an appearance on the IONWANNATALK show, discussed the possibility of recording music and touring with his colleague.
Davido explained that he doubts whether a joint song with Wizkid would become a hit, citing the collaboration between Dโbanj and 2Baba as an example.
โIf Wizkid and I do a song together, I donโt know if it will pop because when Dโbanj and 2Baba did a record together, it didnโt really pop. If we tour together, Iโll ask for $500,000 per show because I know every venue will sell out,โ he said.
He also spoke about their past disagreements and relationship, saying it takes maturity for someone to admit when their feelings have changed.๏ปฟ
The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has urged residents to mobilise grassroots support for President Bola Tinubuโs re-election in 2027, saying a multi-party rainbow coalition will unite political stakeholders across party lines.
Mr Wike made the call on Monday during the commissioning of the Gwagwalada Civil Centre in Abuja, where he met political stakeholders from the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the area council.
In a statement signed by his spokesperson, Lere Olayinka, Mr Wike said the coalition showed that the collective interest of the people mattered more than individual political ambitions.
He urged Nigerians to embrace the rainbow coalition as a platform for national unity, political cooperation and sustainable development.

Prosecutors said on Monday they plan to retry a US mother accused of killing her three children after a jury deadlock led to a mistrial in a case that has gripped the United States.
Lindsay Clancy, 36, did not deny at trial strangling Cora, five, Dawson, three, and Callan, eight months, but claimed she was suffering from postpartum psychosis โ excusing her from criminal responsibility.
A jury of nine women and three men was unable to reach a unanimous decision, as required in US criminal proceedings, casting doubt on whether prosecutors would seek another trial.
โThis would be a retrial. As to what that looks like will depend,โ prosecutor Jennifer Sprague told a Massachusetts court, without saying what charges Clancy would face.
