Kaizer Chiefs Reportedly Sign Bafana Bafana Winger Elias Mokwana On A Free Transfer

Kaizer Chiefs have reportedly secured the services of Bafana Bafana winger Elias Mokwana on a free transfer as the Soweto giants continue to strengthen their squad.

According to reports reaching Soccer Laduma, the Amakhosi have completed a move for the talented wide player, who could bring additional attacking options and experience to the club.

Mokwana has previously attracted attention through his performances in South African football, earning recognition for his pace, attacking movement and ability to create opportunities from wide positions. His qualities have also helped him establish himself within the Bafana Bafana setup.

A potential arrival at Naturena would represent an important addition for Chiefs, who have been working to improve their attacking options and build a squad capable of challenging for major honours.

The winger’s ability to operate in wide areas could give the technical team more flexibility when selecting its attacking combinations. His direct approach, willingness to take on defenders and ability to contribute in the final third could also provide a different dimension to the team’s play.

Completing the reported deal without paying a transfer fee would be another significant aspect of the move, although personal terms and other contractual details have not been provided in the information available.

For Mokwana, a return to the South African top flight with one of the country’s most supported clubs could offer an opportunity to strengthen his reputation and secure regular football.

Chiefs supporters will be eager to see what the winger could bring to the team if the reported agreement is confirmed. His experience at international level could also prove valuable as the club looks to improve its performances in domestic competitions.

The reported development is likely to attract considerable attention among Amakhosi fans, who will be waiting for an official announcement from the club.
