If Kwankwaso Wins Kano State, “We Should Give Him The Politician Of The Century,” Says Lai Omotola

According to a video posted on Symfoni on Sunday, November 1, 2026, Lai Omotola said Rabiu Kwankwaso would deserve the title of politician of the century if he wins Kano State. He said Mr Kwankwaso believes he can do it. He said the odds are against him.

In his words, Lai Omotola said, “Kwankwaso believes that he can play magic. He believes that he is very, very strong. If Kwankwaso should win Kano State, then we should give him the politician of the century.

” If Kwankwaso wins Kano State, we should give him the politician of the century. You know what? All his foot soldiers have been withdrawn from him,” he said.

Mr Omotola did not say who withdrew the foot soldiers. He did not give figures on Mr Kwankwaso’s support. Mr Kwankwaso’s side did not respond in the interview.

He added that Kano is cosmopolitan, which he said makes it a different kind of contest. He said that if Mr Kwankwaso could repeat his earlier results and win Kano, the praise would be deserved. He presented this as his own opinion.

Mr Omotola also spoke about other northern states. He said Kaduna will go to the ADC because people there are hungry. He said Zamfara will see a strong push from former governor Abdul-Aziz Yari and others, and that Taraba will go to President Bola Tinubu because the G7 generals who dictate politics there are with him.
