Odunlade Adekola celebrates wife on her birthday, shares how they met 22 years ago

Nollywood actor Odunlade Adekola has showered love on his wife, Deaconess Ruth Abosede Adekola, as she celebrates her birthday.

The actor took to his Instagram page to share beautiful pictures of his wife, accompanied by a heartfelt message recounting how their love story began.

According to Odunlade, he first met Ruth about 22 years ago. He recalled approaching her and expressing his interest in starting a relationship with her. Two decades ago, they took their relationship further as he became fully engaged to her.

Describing her as his baby and the mother of his children, the actor reaffirmed his love for her, promising to cherish her forever. He also described her as his number one fan and prayed for God’s continued blessings upon her life.

The actor’s birthday tribute adds to the several occasions he has publicly celebrated his wife and expressed admiration for her.

Last year, Odunlade marked Ruth’s birthday with an emotional message, describing her as his partner and best friend. He also noted that she deserved to be loved and celebrated every day.

Similarly, while celebrating her birthday in 2024, the actor showered her with lovely descriptions, including wonderful, gorgeous, adorable and God-fearing, alongside heartfelt prayers for her.

Odunlade has also celebrated his wife following her ordination as a Deaconess in her church. Sharing moments from the ceremony, he congratulated her on the new position and jokingly encouraged her to give out money to mark the occasion.

Meanwhile, actor Funsho Adeolu previously spoke about Ruth’s role in her marriage to the movie star. He described her as a dedicated homekeeper who remained steadfast despite the challenges that can come with being married to a celebrity.
