Ghana Freedom Party Leader Roman Fada Secures New Party Office in Accra Ahead of 2028 Elections
The leader of the Ghana Freedom Party, Philip Appiah Kubi, popularly known as Roman Fada, has secured a new party office in Accra as he takes steps to strengthen the party’s organisational presence ahead of the 2028 general elections.
The acquisition is expected to provide the party with a central location for its administrative work, meetings, political engagements and strategic planning as preparations gradually begin for the next national polls.
Roman Fada is seeking to position the Ghana Freedom Party as an alternative to the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the National Democratic Congress (NDC), which have dominated Ghana’s electoral politics since the return to constitutional rule in 1992.
His ambition to challenge the two established political parties reflects his desire to expand the range of political choices available to voters in 2028.
Having a dedicated office in the national capital could help the party coordinate its activities, engage members and supporters, and improve its visibility. It may also serve as a base for organising campaigns and extending the party’s structures to other parts of the country.
However, securing an office is only one step towards building a nationwide political presence. The party will also need to strengthen its grassroots structures, attract supporters and communicate a clear political message to the electorate.
As the 2028 elections draw closer, attention will be on whether Roman Fada and his team can turn their organisational efforts into broader national support and establish the Ghana Freedom Party as a competitive political force.
