According to information shared about the incident, Botshelo was allegedly killed by Sizwe Nkululeko Yende at his parents’ residence on 25 September 2026.

It is alleged that the two were involved in a verbal disagreement that eventually escalated into violence. During the confrontation, Yende allegedly strangled the young woman, leaving her with fatal injuries.

Botshelo was reportedly found deceased at the residence. Emergency medical personnel were called to the scene, but she was declared dead upon their arrival.

Following the incident, Sizwe Nkululeko Yende was arrested and charged in connection with Botshelo’s death. The case has brought renewed attention to the ongoing problem of violence against women in South Africa, where families continue to lose loved ones under devastating circumstances.
