GoldBod to formalise eligible small-scale miners within six months

The CEO of GoldBod, Sammy Gyamfi, has announced plans to register eligible informal small-scale miners into cooperatives and facilitate their full formalisation and licensing within six months under a new government programme.The initiative, known as the Responsible Cooperative Mining and Skills Development Programme (rCOMSDEP), is designed to bring informal artisanal miners into the regulated mining sector while promoting responsible and environmentally sustainable mining.
