Public Notice:Tumba Family Warns Public Against Transacting On 34.3 Caveat Emptor Hectares Land At FGGC Yola

The family of Mr. Emmanuel Philip Tumba has issued a strong public warning to prospective buyers, investors and real estate developers over a disputed parcel of land measuring approximately 34.3 hectares located at Sengere, FGGC, Yola in Adamawa State. In a Caveat Emptor notice signed by Emmanuel Philip Tumba, the family said the land belongs to his father by purchase and that the family has been in possession of the land for several decades, farming on it and leasing portions to others.

Tumba stated that some individuals recently trespassed on the property, a matter which he said has already been taken to court for adjudication. He said he was surprised to see a public notice issued by Salem Premium Global Ventures Ltd claiming ownership of the same property. According to him, the ownership and possession of the land are now disputed and subject to ongoing legal proceedings. “Members of the public are hereby advised to exercise extreme caution and conduct proper due diligence before dealing with, purchasing, leasing, developing or otherwise transacting in respect of this land or with anyone claiming ownership of it, including Salem Premium Global Ventures Ltd,” the notice read.
