Crowd Erupts as Oburu Odinga Addresses Them Through Pre-recorded Video During Jacaranda Rally

An emotional atmosphere has swept across Jacaranda Grounds as Siaya Senator Dr. Oburu Oginga makes a surprise appearance, solving the mystery surrounding his earlier absence from the high-profile Nairobi CBD convoy.

According to live broadcast updates published by Citizen TV Kenya on X, the ODM boss has reached out to thousands of party faithful through a special pre-recorded video address projected on massive screens at the venue.

The sudden appearance of Dr. Oburu on screen has sparked wild cheers and jubilation from the massive crowd that has gathered for the #MweziWaBaba grand finale.

Addressing supporters directly from his recovery location, the senior leader has expressed deep gratitude to party loyalists for their continuous prayers and sympathy during his recent period of illness.

He has reassured the cheering audience that he has made significant progress in regaining his health and has promised to return to active field engagements very soon to push forward national development activities.

In his heartfelt address, Dr. Oburu has emphasized the profound national importance of the anniversary event honoring his late brother, former Prime Minister Raila Amolo Odinga.

He has highlighted that while Raila had served as an iconic statesman for the entire nation, he had remained the core founder and guiding light of the Orange Democratic Movement.

Consequently, he has stated that this commemorative gathering at Jacaranda has held an extraordinary significance for the entire ODM family as they reflect on their journey and future.

The video message has effectively re-energized the rally, uniting the crowd alongside attending leaders such as Governor Gladys Wanga, Governor Simba Arati, CS John Mbadi, CS Hassan Joho and MP Junet Mohamed.

By delivering his direct message of hope and solidarity, Dr. Oburu has dispelled growing political speculations, leaving supporters thoroughly inspired as the landmark anniversary event has drawn to a triumphant close in the capital.
