Kaizer Chiefs Confirm Starting XI for Soweto Derby Against Orlando Pirates

Kaizer Chiefs have announced their starting line-up for their highly anticipated Soweto Derby encounter against Orlando Pirates, with Brandon Petersen among the players selected to start the crucial fixture.

Petersen takes his place in goal as Amakhosi prepare to face their fierce rivals in one of the biggest matches on the South African football calendar.

The Chiefs defence features Reeve Frosler, Inácio Miguel, Moloisane and Mako, who will be tasked with keeping Pirates’ attacking players at bay. They will need to remain organised and disciplined against a Buccaneers side eager to claim bragging rights.

In midfield, Maboe, Mthethwa and Vilakazi have been handed starting roles as Chiefs look to compete for control of the game and provide support to both their defence and attack.

The inclusion of players such as Dortley, Chislett and Velebayi provides additional choices should Chiefs need fresh energy or a tactical adjustment as the match progresses.
