JUST IN: Kalonzo Announces 2-Day Rallies in Nyanza Hrs After He Was Heckled By Sifuna Supporters

Political drama in the country has taken a fresh turn as Wiper Patriotic Front party leader Kalonzo Musyoka has announced an extensive political tour of the Nyanza region.

The bold move has come just hours after sections of the crowd booed him during the official unveiling of the Linda Mwananchi Movement’s national headquarters in Nairobi.

According to official updates from Citizen TV Kenya, the opposition veteran faced hostile treatment from supporters linked to Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna.

The tension reportedly flared up when Kalonzo cautioned Senator Sifuna against prematurely declaring himself as the main opposition presidential candidate for 2027 before comprehensive consultations take place.

Rather than backing down after the confrontation, an unbothered Kalonzo has immediately signaled his readiness to test the political waters ahead of the upcoming general elections.

Official posters released by The Wiper Patriotic Front have confirmed that the opposition chief has scheduled “The Ukombozi Tour” across Migori and Homa Bay counties.

The official itinerary released by the party shows that the two-day whirlwind campaign has been planned to kick off on Thursday, November 5, 2026.

On Day 1, Kalonzo has lined up engagements in Ntimaru and Kehancha in Kuria, culminating in a major rally at Posta Grounds in Migori Town by 4:00 PM.

On Day 2, Friday, November 6, 2026, the leader has scheduled visits to the historic Tom Mboya Mausoleum, followed by public addresses in Oyugis Town and Kendu Bay Town.

By taking his message directly to the Nyanza heartland under the banner #KomboaKenya, Kalonzo has demonstrated a clear intent to cement his footprint and solidify his grassroots support ahead of 2027.
