Full List of Top Politicians Invited to Former CS Charles Keter’s Daughter’s Wedding

Some of Kenya’s best-known political figures gathered on Friday, October 30, to celebrate with former cabinet secretary Charles Keter as his daughter, Tracy Keter, got married. Senator Aaron Cheruiyot, Nelson Koech and ODM’s Opiyo Wandayi were among the prominent guests who joined the Keter family for the occasion.

Nakuru Governor Susan Kihika also attended alongside her husband, Sam Mburu. With so many leaders in the same venue, the ceremony became as much a political gathering as a family affair.

Tracy exchanged vows with her fiancé, Robin Bett, the son of Benjamin Mitei. Guests described the event as vibrant and memorable, with colour and joy marking the celebration from start to finish.

Keter later shared the news on his Facebook page, posting six photos from the wedding together with a message to the newlyweds. He described the day as splendid and colourful, noting that his daughter had formally exchanged marriage vows with Bett.

The former CS also used the post to bless the couple as they start their life together. He prayed that their union would “be filled with everlasting love, happiness, unity, good health, and abundant prosperity.”

The turnout drew attention to the wide network Keter has built across Kenya’s political landscape over the years. As a veteran politician and former Cabinet Secretary, he has maintained relationships that stretch beyond party lines, and the guest list at his daughter’s wedding reflected that reach.

For the Keter family, however, the day was first and foremost a personal milestone, one they chose to share with friends, allies and well-wishers both at the venue and online.
