Cheruiyot’s Proposal to Ruto Should Opposition Pick Sifuna as Its Presidential Candidate

Kericho Senator Aaron Cheruiyot has made a proposal to President Ruto should Opposition pick Edwin Sifuna as its Presidential Candidate.

According to the Senate Majority Leader, should the Opposition settle on Edwin Sifuna as its Presidential candidate and Gachagua as lead campaigner, they will respectfully ask William Ruto to leave campaigns and focus on the serious work of building the nation.

Senator Cheruiyot mocked a Sifuna Presidential Candidacy as unworthy of President Ruto’s attention.

Hence, he proposed to President Ruto to allow National Assembly Majority Leader Kimani Ichung’wah to lead them in campaigning, should the Opposition camp pick Edwin Sifuna as its flagbearer.

“If this clueless opposition settles on Edwin Sifuna as the presidential candidate and Rigathi as lead campaigner, we will respectfully ask President William Samoei Ruto to focus on the serious work of transforming the Republic and allow Kimani Ichung’wa to lead us in the little task ahead. Hio ni game ya kucheza with eyes closed.” Aaron Cheruiyot said.

The proposal by Aaron Cheruiyot came after the Launch of The Linda Mwananchi Movement Party, a political vehicle that Sifuna hopes to use in his quest to unseat President Ruto. However, Aaron Cheruiyot has come out and dismissed Sifuna’s candidacy as unworthy of President Ruto’s attention.
