Nearly 2m Ghanaian youth not in employment, education or training – GSS

Close to two million Ghanaians aged 15 to 35 were neither working nor in education or training in the third quarter of 2025, with young women accounting for more than six in every 10 of them, the Ghana Statistical Service (GSS) has reported.The figures highlight the scale of the challenge facing Ghana as it seeks to translate its growing youth population into productive economic participation.
