Mahama’s Reputation Spreading Across the World Like Fine Perfume – Nana Yaa Jantuah Declares

Nana Yaa Jantuah, a Presidential Staffer, has likened President Mahama’s name to a good perfume that spreads his reputation around the world, speaking on the occasion of the President’s recent doctoral recognition.

In other words, the Presidential Staffer compared the President’s name to a pleasant fragrance whose scent carries far and wide, suggesting that his reputation is spreading globally. She made the remark in connection with President Mahama’s recent receipt of a doctoral recognition, using the perfume imagery to illustrate how his standing is being acknowledged beyond Ghana’s borders.

Put differently, Nana Yaa Jantuah, speaking as a Presidential Staffer on the President’s recent doctoral honour, described President Mahama’s name as being like a good perfume—something whose influence and reputation travel widely and are appreciated by many. The comparison suggests that the recognition adds to a reputation that is already reaching audiences around the world, much as the scent of fine perfume extends well beyond its source.

The key details are as follows: the speaker was Nana Yaa Jantuah, identified as a Presidential Staffer; the subject was President Mahama’s recent doctoral recognition; and the remark was that the President’s name is like a good perfume, spreading his reputation around the world.

The report does not specify which institution conferred the doctoral recognition, the date or venue of the conferment, the field of the degree, or the full context in which Nana Yaa Jantuah made her statement. It also does not indicate whether other officials commented on the recognition. What is clear is that the Presidential Staffer used the perfume metaphor to convey that President Mahama’s reputation is expanding internationally, and she did so while commenting on his recent doctoral honour.
