Kenya ranks seventh among African countries in industrial coverage, placing it ahead of Tanzania, Ethiopia and Uganda, Industry and Investment Principal Secretary John Mukhwana has said.Speaking about the country’s industrial progress during an interview with a local media station on Friday, October 30, 2026, Mukhwana said Kenya had established itself as a leading industrial hub in East and Central Africa, with only South Africa ranking ahead of it across Eastern, Central and Southern Africa.
