Hospitalised Geoffrey Mosiria Breaks Silence, Makes Emotional Appeal to Kenyans as He Seeks Prayers

Former Nairobi County Chief Officer Geoffrey Mosiria has broken his silence after being hospitalised, making an emotional appeal to Kenyans and asking them to remember him in their prayers as he battles an undisclosed health challenge.

In a heartfelt message shared on Friday, October 30, Mosiria admitted that he was going through a difficult moment and needed spiritual support from Kenyans who have followed his journey and work in Nairobi.

The former City Hall official acknowledged that people who appear strong and spend their time helping others also experience moments when they become weak and need encouragement from those around them.

He asked his supporters, friends and members of the public to pray for him, expressing hope that God would give him the strength to overcome the difficult situation.

“Today, I humbly ask you, my fans and everyone who has been walking this journey with me, to remember me in your prayers. Even those who always appear strong need time to rest, heal, and be lifted by God,” Mosiria stated.

He further admitted that the experience had not been easy, urging Kenyans to continue standing with him as he seeks God’s intervention during the challenging period.

Mosiria explained that although he might not always have the strength to appear in public or continue with his usual activities, his commitment to the people he serves remains unchanged.

He also expressed confidence that he would recover through God’s grace, thanking those who had already reached out with messages of encouragement and support.

“Thank you for your love, your prayers, and your continued support. May God remember you in your own difficult moments, just as you remember me in mine,” he added.

His emotional message came hours after reports emerged that he had been rushed to hospital following a sudden illness during a meeting in Nairobi on Thursday evening, October 29.

The incident was made public by Duke Mainga Echate, who disclosed that he had accompanied Mosiria to hospital alongside former presidential aspirant Morara Kebaso and another individual identified as Mirina.

According to Mainga, Mosiria suddenly became unwell while attending their meeting, forcing those present to organise medical assistance and take him to hospital.

He later shared a message wishing the former Nairobi County official a quick recovery, expressing hope that he would regain his strength and overcome the health challenge.

“Take it easy, bro,” Mainga wrote while wishing Mosiria renewed strength and a speedy recovery.

However, neither Mainga nor Mosiria provided details about the illness that led to his hospitalisation, leaving the circumstances surrounding his sudden health complication unclear.

Mosiria’s hospitalisation comes at a time when he has remained a familiar figure in Nairobi’s public affairs, particularly through his activities addressing issues affecting residents.

His latest appeal has shifted attention to his personal wellbeing, with the former county official asking Kenyans to support him through prayers as he takes time to recover.

For now, his supporters will be hoping for positive news about his condition following the emotional message he shared with the public.
