Hospitalised Geoffrey Mosiria makes humble appeal to Kenyans
Former Nairobi County Chief Officer Geoffrey Mosiria has made a humble appeal to Kenyans, asking them to remember him in their prayers as he navigates a difficult moment.
In a heartfelt message shared on Friday, October 30, 2026, Mosiria acknowledged that he had been going through a challenging period, revealing that even people who appear strong and are always available to help others sometimes need support.
He asked his fans and those who have followed his journey to pray for him, saying he needed God’s strength and divine intervention.
“Today, I humbly ask you, my fans and everyone who has been walking this journey with me, to remember me in your prayers. Even those who always appear strong need time to rest, heal, and be lifted by God,” Mosiria said.
“Please keep me in prayers. It shall be well in the name of God! It has not been easy.”
Mosiria also reflected on how people who spend much of their time supporting others can also experience moments when they feel weak and need encouragement.
He noted that while there are times when people are strong, active and able to carry other people’s burdens, they also encounter situations that require them to pause, rest and seek strength from God.
“There are times when you are strong, up and running, helping others and carrying everyone’s burdens. But there are also times when you become weak and need prayers, God’s strength, and His divine intervention,” he stated.
Mosiria added that although he might not always have the strength to show up as he normally does, his commitment to the people he serves remains unchanged.
He expressed faith that he would overcome the difficult period through God’s grace, adding that he believed God was in control and that God would remember those who stood with him whenever they encountered difficulties in their own lives.
“I may not always have the strength to show up as I normally do, but my heart remains with the people I serve. I believe God is in control, and with His grace, I will overcome this difficult moment,” he added.
“Thank you for your love, your prayers, and your continued support. May God remember you in your own difficult moments, just as you remember me in mine.”
The appeal comes hours after he was hospitalised after suddenly falling ill during a meeting in Nairobi on Thursday evening, October 29, 2026.
Duke Mainga Echate disclosed the incident in a statement, saying he accompanied Mosiria to the hospital alongside Morara Kebaso and Mirina after he became unwell during a meeting held in Nairobi.
“This evening, together with Hon Morara Kebaso and Hon Mirina, we accompanied our brother Geoffrey Mosiria KE to the hospital after he suddenly fell ill during our meeting in Nairobi,” Mainga stated.
He wished Mosiria a quick recovery, expressing hope that he would regain his strength.
“Wishing you a quick recovery and renewed strength. By God’s grace, the devil’s plans shall be defeated. “Take it easy, bro,” he added.
The circumstances surrounding Mosiria’s sudden illness have not been disclosed yet.
