Ohemaa Dynamite fails to meet bail conditions; remains in custody
Socialite Ohemaa Dynamite has been granted bail of GH¢1 million by the Adenta Circuit Court but remains in custody after the sureties she presented failed to satisfy the requirements for her release.
Real name Abigail Owusu Ansah, she is facing an alleged theft case involving GH¢1.5 million reportedly taken from a safe at the residence of Bishop Daniel Obinim.
Although the court has granted her bail, her release has been delayed because the investigator objected to the sureties she presented, citing their residence outside the Accra jurisdiction.
She has consequently been directed to provide sureties who live within the jurisdiction before she can be released.
The case follows reports that Ohemaa Dynamite visited Bishop Obinim’s residence for a live session and was left at the house by the preacher. The alleged theft was reportedly discovered around October 15, 2026.
Subsequent reports have claimed that she told police she conspired with other individuals to steal the money. However, the allegation remains subject to the legal process.
Until she meets the bail requirements, Ohemaa Dynamite will remain in custody despite the court’s decision to grant her bail.
