Davido Reacts as Brother Adewale Adeleke Acquires Two Luxury Cars

Nigerian music star Davido has reacted to the recent acquisition of two luxury cars by his elder brother, Adewale Adeleke.

Adewale, a businessman, shared a video on social media showing the moment he took delivery of a Mercedes-Maybach and a Lamborghini. The two vehicles attracted attention following his announcement about the purchases.

In his caption, Adewale explained that he preferred to make moves quietly while allowing his achievements to speak for themselves. He described one of the cars as being for comfort and the other as a source of excitement.

Reacting to the post on his X page, Davido expressed his excitement in a playful comment, writing, “I go double double, make them double hustle sha.”

The singer’s response came after his brother shared the video of the newly acquired vehicles.

Davido and Adewale have occasionally shown support for each other publicly. In an earlier exchange on social media, Adewale also supported a statement by Davido’s manager, Asa Asika, who described the singer as one of Africa’s most influential personalities.

In 2024, Adewale praised music executive Paulo Okoye for his contributions to Davido’s career. He recalled some of the support Paulo had offered the singer and acknowledged his role in Davido’s musical journey.

Adewale has also defended his younger brother against claims made by singer Dammy Krane. At the time, Dammy Krane alleged that Davido had abandoned their family’s record label, HKN, after achieving financial success.

Responding to the allegations, Adewale questioned the singer’s claims and denied that Davido owed him money. He also expressed hope that Dammy Krane would receive the support he needed.

With several successful projects and major performances to his credit, Davido remains one of Nigeria’s prominent music stars.
