Ministerial intervention thwarted Empire Cement relocation in 2023 – Kokofu

Former Executive Director of the Environmental Protection Authority (EPA), Dr. Henry Kwabena Kokofu, has disclosed that Empire Cement Ghana Limited was given three months to prepare a relocation plan after concerns were raised about the location of its facility during the early stages of its operations.
