Now Trending: Police Officer Who Fell Inside Concrete Drainage While Chasing Okada Rider The story is now trending of a Nigerian police

Though there are many related current incidents, the one in question not having a recent history, it has remained on the trend for its moral undertones.

What Happened: The officer was pursuing an okada rider, allegedly to extort him, and failed to notice the open hole; he plunged inside.

He was calling out for help from inside the pit, instead, the people who gathered around began mocking him.

At long last, he was rescued, with footage indicating that the policeman later returned the money he collected from the bike rider.

The issue became a subject of online banter for the uniform as shown from the reactions below:

If you were there, would you laugh first, or help the officer out?

This one made my day they should let him suffer small before rescuing him.

I will first try to help him out because he’s a family man, and I won’t look at the uniform

The police is human. It’s accident. If the man is a good person he would have not run in the first place. Did we manage to find out if he was chasing a deadly criminal ?

Why can’t we help or call police to help their own.

Let us repair this country together please.!

Laugh third….in fact we are still laughing

Let them call Lagos state emergency number

Those of you laughing will help the owner of the house crying when the case starts

The police na somebody father. make una help am.
