NTSA Issues New Directive to All Motor Vehicle Owners on Number Plates and Driving licences.

The National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) has issued new guidance directing Kenyan motorists to specific email addresses for inquiries about reflective number plates, driving licences, public service vehicle (PSV) services and driving school management.

In a statement reportedly released on Monday, October 26, 2026, the authority advised vehicle owners to contact the relevant departments through designated email addresses to receive assistance with their applications and service-related concerns.

According to the notice, motorists seeking updates on reflective number plate applications have been directed to email mvenquiries@ntsa.go.ke to inquire about the progress of their requests.

For driving licence and PSV-related services, the authority has provided dlqueries@ntsa.go.ke as the contact address. The services covered include smart driving licence inquiries, licence status checks, updates to driving licence records, PSV badge inquiries and PSV Sacco-related matters.

Meanwhile, individuals requiring driving school management services have been advised to contact dsmqueries@ntsa.go.ke. These services include driving school registration, revalidation, provisional driving licence (PDL) application support, driver test bookings, test status updates and driving licence endorsements.

The authority has also identified info@ntsa.go.ke as the email address for general official communication.

The guidance is intended to direct motorists and other road users to the appropriate channels when seeking assistance with transport-related services.

By separating inquiries according to the service required, NTSA provides motorists with specific contact points for following up on applications and obtaining information about their driving documents.

Vehicle owners and applicants are encouraged to use the designated email addresses corresponding to their inquiries to help ensure their requests reach the relevant department.

However, motorists should consult NTSA’s official communication channels to confirm the details of the notice and any additional requirements before submitting personal information or application documents.
