Atiku Isn’t A Man You Can Rely On, He Tells You One Thing In The Morning & Another In Afternoon-Wike

In a video shared by Channels Television, Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, recalled his political experience with Atiku Abubakar, ADC presidential candidate, expressing concerns about his consistency and reliability in political dealings based on their previous relationship.

Wike explained that his concerns were shaped by their political relationship, particularly during the 2022 presidential primaries, when both politicians contested for the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, presidential ticket, adding that the experience influenced his perception of Atiku’s approach to political agreements and commitments.

The FCT Minister also recalled his involvement in the 2019 presidential election, claiming that he was among the major financial supporters of the campaign, while explaining why he questioned Atiku’s consistency in keeping promises made during political discussions and engagements.

In Wike’s words: “I pray you never know Atiku Abubakar. I ran against him in the 2022 presidential primaries. In 2019, I was one of the biggest sponsors of his presidential campaign. He is not a man whose word you can rely on. He tells you one thing in the morning and another thing in the afternoon.”
