Maame gold gifts christiana awuni a brand new toyota sienta after saying she still takes trotro

According to report by Thebbcghana on Tuesday 27, October 2026, Ghanaian businesswoman Maame Gold has gifted veteran Kumawood actress Christiana Awuni a brand-new Toyota Sienta after learning that the actress still relies on public transportation and ride-hailing services despite spending more than two decades in the movie industry.

The gesture has attracted attention, particularly because Christiana Awuni has been a familiar face in Ghana’s Kumawood movie industry for several years. Her revelation about her transportation situation appears to have prompted Maame Gold to step in and offer her support.

Christiana Awuni recently disclosed that despite her long-standing career in the Ghanaian film industry, she still uses trotro and Uber to move from one place to another. Her disclosure has highlighted some of the challenges that established actors may continue to face, even after years of contributing to the entertainment industry.

Following the revelation, Maame Gold reportedly decided to surprise the actress with a brand-new Toyota Sienta to make her transportation easier and more convenient.

In addition to the vehicle, the businesswoman also presented Christiana Awuni with an undisclosed amount of money to support her fuel expenses. The additional cash gift is expected to help the actress manage the cost of running her new vehicle.

Christiana Awuni received the gifts with gratitude and expressed her appreciation to Maame Gold for the kind gesture. The actress was reportedly pleased with the surprise, which came as a welcome development following her comments about relying on public transport and ride-hailing services.

Maame Gold’s gesture has also drawn attention to the importance of supporting people who have spent years contributing to Ghana’s creative arts industry. While actors often entertain audiences and help promote local culture through their work, their personal financial and transportation circumstances can vary considerably.

The gift serves as a reminder of how acts of generosity can make a meaningful difference in the lives of others. For Christiana Awuni, the Toyota Sienta could provide greater convenience as she continues her activities within the entertainment industry.

Although the exact amount of money presented to the actress has not been disclosed, the combination of the vehicle and fuel support makes the gesture a significant show of goodwill towards the veteran Kumawood star.
