DStv sports package subscription down to GH¢250
The Minister for Communication, Samuel Nartey George, announced the government’s decision during a joint press conference held in Accra alongside representatives of MultiChoice Ghana.
Addressing the media, the Minister emphasised that the steep price decrease is designed to ease financial pressure on Ghanaian homes and return substantial funds to consumers.
He stated that any household previously paying GH¢850 or GH¢875 at the time the Ministry assumed office would now save over GH¢500 every month, representing a price slash of more than 60 per cent.
“Any family that was paying GH¢850 or GH¢875 when the Ministry came into office and is going to pay GH¢250 now will be saving over GH¢500. That’s more than a 60% reduction,” he said.
