Ghana Health Ministry Announces 3-Day Recruitment Exercise for Medical Officers and Dentists

Ghana’s Ministry of Health will open its recruitment portal on Tuesday, October 27, 2026, for medical officers and dentists in the 36th batch who have completed their housemanship and obtained verification from the Medical and Dental Council.

In a notice issued on Monday, October 26, the ministry said the recruitment exercise is aimed at addressing staffing shortages in health facilities across the country.

Eligible applicants are required to submit their applications through the ministry’s official recruitment portal at mohrecruitment.com.

Applicants must follow the online instructions to select their preferred districts and agencies.

The portal is scheduled to open at 3:10 a.m. on Tuesday, October 27, and close on Thursday, October 29, 2026.

The ministry has urged applicants to use only the authorised online platform and remain vigilant against individuals who may demand money in exchange for assistance with the recruitment process.

It stressed that the exercise would be conducted transparently and warned prospective applicants against making payments at any stage of the application process.
