Asake’s Paris Show Takes Emotional Turn as Mother Makes Surprise Appearance

According to a post on X by The Nation on Monday, October 26, 2026, Nigerian Afrobeats star Asake was delighted after his mother made a surprise appearance at his show in Paris, France, creating a memorable moment during his international concert run.

The singer, whose real name is Ahmed Ololade, recently performed in the French capital as part of his In God We Trust World Tour. The concert took place at the Accor Arena on Saturday, October 24, marking the final stop on the tour.

His mother’s unexpected appearance added a personal touch to the event, bringing family into a performance that formed part of his growing international presence. The moment has drawn attention on social media, where fans have continued to follow the singer’s performances and personal milestones.

Asake has previously shared memorable moments with his mother in public. In March 2026, the singer made headlines after surprising her with a luxury Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon G63, highlighting the close relationship between the two.

The singer and his mother also attracted attention in September 2024 when she was spotted at his concert at London’s O2 Arena. That event featured performances from several Nigerian entertainers, including Wizkid, who joined Asake on stage to perform their collaborative song, MMS.

The latest moment in Paris comes as Asake continues to expand his reach beyond Nigeria through major international performances. His In God We Trust World Tour included stops across North America and Europe before concluding in the French capital.

The Paris concert also featured Nigerian singer BNXN and South African amapiano duo TxC on the event’s lineup, adding to the Nigerian and African musical presence at the show.
