MySol Responds to Julius Malema Following Heated Exchange at EFF Rally

Businessman Malcolm “MySol” X has reportedly hit back at Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) leader Julius Malema following a public exchange of insults that has sparked widespread debate on social media.

MySol allegedly took to social media to mock Malema, suggesting that the EFF leader had very little energy left. The remarks came after Malema launched a verbal attack on the businessman during a campaign rally in Madibeng, North West.

Addressing thousands of EFF supporters, Malema spoke about the need for local communities to benefit directly from mining operations rather than allowing wealthy individuals to control the country’s mineral resources.

During his address, the EFF leader took aim at MySol, referring to him as a “small boy” and insisting that he was not intimidated by wealthy individuals who believed their financial power placed them beyond criticism.

Malema’s comments formed part of the party’s broader campaign message on economic inequality, community empowerment and the distribution of South Africa’s mineral wealth.

The dispute reportedly follows MySol’s appearance on Podcast and Chill with MacG, where he allegedly dismissed Malema’s relevance to him, saying he did not have time for the politician.

The exchange has since attracted considerable attention online, with social media users expressing divided opinions about the public disagreement.

Some EFF supporters have backed Malema’s position, arguing that mining communities should receive greater economic benefits from the country’s natural resources. Others have defended MySol, pointing to the role of private businesses in creating employment and contributing to economic development.

The latest exchange has added another layer to the ongoing debate over wealth, political influence and the future of mining in South Africa.

However, while the two figures continue to attract attention through their public remarks, the broader issues surrounding community ownership, job creation and the distribution of mining revenues remain central to the country’s economic debate.
