Why Some Kaduna Residents Were Chanting Bamayi When Tinubu Arrived For APC Mega Rally- Okonkwo
One of the chieftains of the African Democratic Congress, ADC and spokeperson of the Atiku Abubakar Campaign Council, Kenneth Okonkwo has explained why some residents in Kaduna state were chanting “bamayi” after Tinubu arrived.
The statement of Kenneth Okonkwo was contained in a post that he shared on his official X handle on Sunday, October 25, 2026.
This is coming after President Bola Ahmed Tinubu joined other APC chieftains at the mega rally in Kaduna state.
In post that Kenneth Okonkwo shared on his official X handle, he said the people rejected President Bola Ahmed Tinubu because he removed subsidy. He said the President increased the price of fuel from N195 to N1,500. He said the people of Kaduna rejected Tinubu and hailed Atiku Abubakar.
Here is what Kenneth Okonkwo wrote on his official X handle;
“There is something physically and mentally wrong with a President Tinubu who met fuel price at N195 per litre, but removed subsidy to land the price at N1,500 within three and half years. Little wonder Kaduna people rejected Tinubu with the chant bamayi”.
