Sarkodie’s Rapperholic26 draws massive crowd to Baba Yara Stadium

Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie has thrilled thousands of music fans at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi as the second edition of his Rapperholic concert in the Ashanti Regional capital ended in the early hours of the morning.

The concert, dubbed Rapperholic26, attracted a massive crowd, with the stadium filled to capacity as fans gathered to celebrate Ghanaian music and enjoy performances from some of the country’s leading artistes.

The event, which ran through the night into the morning, marks the second consecutive year Sarkodie has staged his flagship concert in Kumasi following the success of the 2025 edition, dubbed Rapperholic: The Homecoming.

Several musicians took turns on stage to entertain patrons, with KiDi, Sista Afia, Lasmid and Mr Drew among the artistes who delivered performances.

Lasmid particularly thrilled the crowd with his performance, while Sista Afia and Mr Drew also added to the excitement of the night.

Highlife and Afrobeats singer Kuami Eugene was also present to perform, contributing to the diverse musical experience at the concert.

Television personality Nana Ama McBrown attended the event to show her support for Sarkodie, while Ama Burland was also among the personalities spotted at the concert.

The 2025 edition marked Sarkodie’s symbolic return to his roots in Kumasi and established the Baba Yara Sports Stadium as a major venue for the concert.
