“Somebody should please help me” – Afua Nash appeals over burning head, constant sneezing

According to a report by Ghanaweb on Thursday, Oct 1, 2026, Ghanaian food content creator Afua Nash has made a public appeal for help after describing symptoms she says have made it hard to sleep.

In a video circulating on social media, the TikTok personality, who is known for eating large portions of local dishes on camera, spoke in a visibly strained tone. She said her head feels as though it is burning from the inside, her eyes keep watering, her nose is constantly running, and she sneezes repeatedly.

She asked anyone who has been through the same thing, or who knows of a remedy, to come forward. “Somebody should please help me,” she said, describing herself as suffering.

Ms Nash did not say whether she has seen a doctor or received a diagnosis, so the cause of her symptoms remains unclear. What she made plain is that the discomfort has cost her rest, which has made her days harder to get through.

The video has drawn concern from followers who are used to seeing her in a very different mood. She has built a sizeable audience through high-energy eating videos and collaborations with other content creators, and many viewers noted the contrast between that public image and the distressed person in this clip.

Her appeal seems aimed mainly at ordinary social media users rather than any institution. She is looking for practical guidance, whether from people who have dealt with similar complaints or from those who know what might bring relief. No further update from her had been reported at the time of writing.

The post adds to a run of recent stories in which Ghanaian entertainers have spoken openly about health difficulties. Veteran actor Osofo Moses recently recounted his own health struggles and appealed for support. Nollywood legend Pete Edochie has said he plans to visit Moesha Boduong, who told him she had suffered a stroke, during his stay in Ghana.
