Davita Shares How a Mutual Friend Introduced Her to Zlatan Ibile

According to reports by BellaNaija, Davita Omoniyi, the wife of Nigerian singer Zlatan Ibile, has shared details of how she met the music star and how their relationship began.

Speaking to BellaNaija on their wedding day, October 24th, Davita explained that their paths crossed in London through a mutual friend who was interested in music and wanted to collaborate with Zlatan.

According to her account, her friend invited her to accompany her to the meeting, which eventually led to her meeting the singer. What began as an introduction later developed into a relationship.

Reflecting on their journey together, Davita also shared a message for her husband, emphasising the importance of keeping God at the centre of their marriage.

She said their relationship had come a long way since their first meeting and expressed her belief that putting God first would help them build a lasting union.

During a recent interview, Davita also revealed that Zlatan was too shy to approach her directly for her phone number. Instead, the singer reportedly had to send someone to help him make contact with her.

Zlatan, on his part, described Davita as the perfect partner for him. He expressed gratitude to God for bringing her into his life, suggesting that she was exactly what he needed.

The couple’s relationship has attracted public interest over the past year. Earlier in the year, they reportedly held a private civil wedding ceremony attended by family members and close associates.
