Let Me Ask You, Before 2023, Was I Speaking For Peter Obi? I Was In APC in 2019-Kenneth Okonkwo

Kenneth Okonkwo has explained why he moved from supporting Peter Obi to supporting Atiku Abubakar, saying his decisions are based on his personal beliefs and desire for a better Nigeria.

Okonkwo made this statement during an interview on Mic On Podcast, where he responded to questions about his change of political support.

He asked why people were questioning his decision to support Atiku when he had also moved from the All Progressives Congress (APC) in 2019 to support Obi before the 2023 presidential election.

According to him, his political choices have not changed his personal values. He explained that he left his former political position because he wanted to remain true to what he believed in.

Okonkwo said his loyalty was to Nigerians, the Nigerian Constitution and God, rather than to any particular politician.

He also explained that he chose to support Atiku based on his own understanding of the country’s situation and the kind of leadership he believed would serve Nigerians’ interests.

The lawyer stressed that his decision was not influenced by money or personal benefits but by his concern for the welfare of the people.

In his words, “Let me ask you, before 2023, was I speaking for Peter Obi? I was in APC in 2019, so why are you not saying that I double-spoke when I changed from APC to say I’m going to speak for Obi.”
