Today,We Have John Mahama Who Won’t Even Investigate,He Simply Ignores Us As If We Don’t Exist—Osei

According to a Post on Joseph oppong official facebook account on Saturday, October 24,2036,Ghanaian social commentator Joseph Oppong has taken a swipe at President John Dramani Mahama over what he describes as the government’s failure to address concerns raised by some citizens, insisting that the same silence should be maintained if Dr Mahamudu Bawumia becomes president in 2029.

In a Facebook post, Oppong compared the criticism former President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo received over investigations into alleged misconduct with what he considers Mahama’s failure to investigate issues brought to his attention.

Oppong recalled that Akufo-Addo was branded a “clearing agent” after investigations he initiated reportedly cleared individuals accused of wrongdoing. He argued that, despite the findings, some critics continued to attack the former president rather than acknowledge the outcomes.

The commentator accused those critics of dismissing the results of the investigations and resorting to insults against Akufo-Addo.

Turning his attention to Mahama, Oppong alleged that the current president had adopted a different approach by ignoring concerns instead of ordering investigations into them.

“Today, we have a H. E John Dramani Mahama who won’t even investigate, he simply ignores us as if we never existed,” he stated.

Oppong further argued that those who believe their concerns are being overlooked under Mahama’s administration should not expect him to respond differently if Bawumia assumes the presidency in 2029.

He called for consistency in how citizens respond to political leadership, suggesting that those who remain silent when their concerns are ignored by one government should maintain the same position under another administration.
