‘Anti-LGBTQ+ bill will be law of the land as long as I’m Speaker’ – Bagbin

Speaker of Parliament Alban Bagbin has assured Ghanaians that the Proper Human Sexual Rights and Ghanaian Family Values Bill popularly known as the anti-LGBTQ+bill will be passed into law after Parliament undertakes a second consideration of the legislation.He said the bill, which seeks to regulate LGBTQ+ activities in Ghana, would be reconsidered at Parliament’s next sitting after lawmakers identified errors in the version initially passed.
