“NO ISSUES” — Pirates Coach Breaks Silence On Sebastian Pedersen Mystery

Orlando Pirates head coach Abdeslam Ouaddou has offered an update on Sebastian Pedersen’s progress, assuring supporters that the striker remains committed to the club and is edging closer to earning a regular place in the starting lineup.

Ouaddou has praised the forward’s attitude and dedication, dismissing any concerns about his commitment as he continues to adapt to the demands of South African football.

“There are no issues with Sebastian. I’m happy with his commitment,” the Pirates coach said.

The Moroccan tactician suggested that Pedersen is approaching the stage where he could be considered for a starting role. However, he emphasised the importance of giving the striker sufficient time to settle into his new environment before placing additional pressure on him.

One of the challenges Pedersen must overcome is adapting to the altitude conditions in South Africa, which can affect players as they adjust to different playing environments and physical demands.

Rather than rushing the forward into the starting eleven, the Pirates technical team appear determined to ensure he is physically prepared and tactically familiar with the team’s playing style.

Ouaddou’s comments will likely encourage Pirates supporters who are eager to see more of the striker in action. His continued development could provide the Buccaneers with another valuable attacking option as they pursue their objectives this season.

For now, the coach has made his position clear: Pedersen’s commitment is not in doubt, and his opportunity to become a regular starter could be approaching.

The striker’s ability to adapt quickly, maintain his progress and meet the team’s expectations will ultimately determine how soon he secures a more prominent role at Orlando Pirates.
