Nigeria’s Money Supply Hits ₦146.6tn as Liquidity Surges ₦7.51tn in September

Nigeria’s broad money supply rose sharply by ₦7.51 trillion in September 2026, reaching ₦146.6 trillion as liquidity in the financial system continued to expand.Figures attributed to the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) showed that broad money supply, measured by M3, increased by 5.4 per cent from ₦139.09 trillion recorded in August to ₦146.6 trillion in September.
