Irvin Khoza Bids Farewell to Mandla Ncikazi as He Leaves Orlando Pirates

Orlando Pirates chairman Dr Irvin Khoza has expressed his appreciation for Mandla Ncikazi following the coach’s departure from the Soweto-based club to pursue a new opportunity.

Khoza acknowledged Ncikazi’s contribution to the Buccaneers, thanking him for his service and wishing him well as he prepares to take on a new professional responsibility.

In his farewell message, the Pirates chairman indicated that the club respected Ncikazi’s decision to move on, emphasising that his departure was being handled with gratitude and goodwill.

“Mandla leaves with our gratitude and our blessing. His contribution to Orlando Pirates has been evident throughout his time with us,” Khoza said.

He added that the club understood Ncikazi’s desire to explore a different opportunity and wished him success in his next chapter.

“We respect his wish to pursue this new opportunity and wish him success as he takes on a new responsibility,” the chairman stated.

Ncikazi’s departure marks the end of his involvement with the Buccaneers, where he formed part of the club’s technical setup. His time at Pirates saw him work within a demanding football environment as the team pursued domestic and continental ambitions.

Khoza’s comments reflect the club’s appreciation for the coach’s efforts and its willingness to support his decision to move forward in his career.

The farewell message has also drawn attention from Pirates supporters following the announcement of Ncikazi’s exit.
