George Ruto’s PSG vs Barcelona Night Out: How Much His Stadium Ticket May Have Cost

George Ruto, the son of President William Ruto, is estimated to have spent between KSh80,000 and KSh130,000 to watch Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) take on Barcelona in a UEFA Champions League encounter in Paris.

George attended the high-profile match at Parc des Princes on Tuesday, October 20, 2026. He shared videos and photographs from the stadium on his Instagram Stories, giving his followers a glimpse of the football experience.

Although the exact price of his ticket has not been established, the available photographs offered clues about the section of the stadium where he was seated.

Reports indicated that tickets for seats in the middle sections were being offered on resale platforms for between €600 and €850, equivalent to approximately KSh87,000 to KSh124,000.

The estimated cost places George’s ticket within the range of some of the more expensive seats available for the encounter. However, there is no confirmation that he bought his ticket at those prices or used a resale platform.

Tickets in the upper sections were reportedly selling for around €500, approximately KSh73,000. Meanwhile, premium seats near the players’ tunnel and in the front rows were said to cost between €1,000 and €1,300, translating to more than KSh145,000.

The figures are indicative rather than confirmed payments by George. His social media posts did not disclose the ticket price, and the photographs alone cannot establish the precise amount he spent.

George’s appearance at the match also coincided with an entertaining contest that saw PSG defeat Barcelona 4-2 in front of their home supporters.

The French club took the lead through Désiré Doué in the 38th minute before Barcelona’s Xavi Espart equalised on his Champions League debut.

PSG regained the advantage when Lucas Hernández scored with a header. Barcelona teenager Lamine Yamal then produced an individual effort to make it 2-2 in the 79th minute.

The hosts, however, finished strongly, with Vitinha and Fabián Ruiz scoring late goals to secure a 4-2 victory for the Parisian side.

The result ended Barcelona’s impressive run of 11 consecutive victories at the beginning of the 2026/27 campaign and handed the Spanish giants their first defeat of the season.

George documented parts of the occasion through several clips showing the atmosphere inside Parc des Princes.

One of his videos captured players gathered around the UEFA Champions League logo at the centre of the pitch, while the stadium lights illuminated the stands.

Another clip showed PSG supporters celebrating amid red flares and banners carrying the French phrase “FIERS DE NOS COULEURS”, which translates to “Proud of Our Colours”.

He also shared the final score as PSG celebrated their victory over the Spanish club.

Despite Barcelona’s defeat, Yamal appeared to catch George’s attention. The Kenyan shared a photograph of the young forward on his Instagram Stories and accompanied it with Starboy, a song by The Weeknd featuring Daft Punk.

Yamal had scored Barcelona’s second goal with an impressive individual effort, although his performance could not prevent the Catalan club from losing in Paris.

George’s posts offered his followers a glimpse of his experience at one of European football’s biggest club competitions, with the match’s dramatic finish providing a memorable highlight of the night.

While the estimated ticket price attracted interest, the amount George actually paid remains unknown.
