Teacher Accused Of Abusing Female Students Not Arrested – Police Expose Minister’s Claim
There is confusion over the arrest of Mr. Abdulai, the teacher accused of sexual misconduct with female students.
On Tuesday, October 20, 2026, Interior Minister Muntaka Mubarak told Parliament’s Public Accounts Committee (PAC) that Mr. Abdulai has been arrested. He said police are investigating the sexual misconduct allegations involving female students.
But just hours after the Minister’s statement, the Police have said something different.
Speaking on Adom FM’s Dwaso Nsem, ASP Baidoo clarified that Mr. Abdulai is not in police custody at all. According to him, the suspect is currently at home.
This has raised serious questions. If the Interior Minister told Parliament that the man is arrested, why is the Police saying he is at home?
Ghanaians are now asking: Has the suspect really been arrested? Or was Parliament misled?
The case involves serious allegations of a teacher abusing female students, and the public wants justice. But this conflicting information from government and police is causing more confusion and anger.
Many are calling on the Police and the Interior Ministry to come clear and tell Ghanaians the truth about where Mr. Abdulai really is.
