Machakos Man Arrested for Assaulting Wife Stunned as She Visits Him in Prison With News of KSh 11.8

A man from Machakos County has reportedly been left emotional after his wife visited him in prison and allegedly revealed that she had won KSh11.8 million through an online prediction platform.

According to the circulating story, the man had been arrested for allegedly assaulting his wife following a domestic dispute over money meant for their daughter’s Grade 9 education.

The man is alleged to have spent their family savings on online betting, leaving the family without the money they had set aside for their daughter’s school needs.

The incident reportedly led to a confrontation between the couple, resulting in the man’s arrest and detention at Manyani Prison.

However, the story took an unexpected turn when his wife allegedly visited him and informed him that she had won KSh11.8 million through a prediction platform she had heard about on the radio.

The woman reportedly told her husband that she intended to use part of the money to secure his release from prison.

The revelation is said to have left the man overwhelmed with emotion as he listened to his wife’s account of the alleged winnings.

The circulating account further claims that the man expressed surprise at how the platform had supposedly changed his family’s financial situation.

However, the claims surrounding the alleged KSh11.8 million win, the circumstances of the man’s arrest and the woman’s reported intention to secure his release have not been independently verified.

The story also highlights the financial pressures that families can face when household savings are lost through gambling and the consequences that domestic violence can have on relationships.

Readers are advised to exercise caution before depositing money on online betting or prediction platforms, particularly when claims of guaranteed winnings or life-changing payouts cannot be independently verified.
