The startling revelation came during an interview with GH Page, which is currently available on the media platform’s social media channels.

Speaking during the interview, Opanin Ayaba claimed that many of the frightening stories people hear about the forest are based on experiences hunters encounter while carrying out their activities.

According to him, he has encountered several terrifying situations during his hunting expeditions, but one particular incident involving an elderly woman dressed in white remains unforgettable.

Recounting the experience, the hunter explained that he had gone into the forest in search of game when he suddenly came across the mysterious woman.

He claimed that the woman was approaching him while speaking, warning him to turn back or risk facing her wrath.

The unexpected encounter reportedly left him frightened and confused, forcing him to flee for his safety rather than risk confronting the woman.

Describing the frightening moment, Opanin Ayaba said: “I met an old woman dressed in white. I ran for my life and left her there. I saw her coming towards me and talking at the same time.”

His account has added to the many chilling stories surrounding hunters’ experiences in Ghana’s forests, where some claim to have encountered unexplained and frightening occurrences.
