“I Promised to Send Her GH₵180 but She Told My Fake Account She Would Wait”–Man Questions Girlfriend

According to a Post by SilentBeads on Facebook Official account on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, a man has shared his relationship concerns online after becoming suspicious of his girlfriend’s behaviour while she was staying in Togo.

According to his story, his girlfriend contacted him about a week ago to explain that life had become difficult for her in Togo. She was unhappy with her situation and wanted to return to Ghana, despite having travelled there in September and spending less than two months in the country.

He explained that the transport fare from Togo to Accra was GH₵180. Unfortunately, he did not have the money available when she first made the request. He therefore asked her to be patient until Tuesday, assuring her that he would send the amount so she could travel back home.

However, the situation took an unexpected turn because of a fake Facebook account he operates. He claimed that he had created the account using a female identity and convinced his girlfriend that he was a friend of her boyfriend. This allowed him to communicate with her without revealing who he really was.

A day after discussing her return to Ghana, the girlfriend reportedly sent a message to the account, explaining that she wanted to return to Accra but lacked the money. She added that she was uncomfortable repeatedly asking her boyfriend for financial assistance and would wait until she had enough money.

Her response reportedly angered him because he believed he had already promised to provide the transport fare on Tuesday.

The man is now questioning whether his girlfriend trusts him or is hiding something from him. He insists that he normally fulfils his promises, especially when it comes to financial commitments.

He plans to confront her when she returns to Ghana and has asked social media users whether he is overthinking the situation or has a genuine reason to worry.
